Summer Fun Continues

Well, last week was another busy week at the Masters' house.

Maddy loves her maraca.



We went to the zoo and farmer's market. Stopped off to take this picture of the skyline since it was a beautiful day.

On Saturday we ventured out to Arlington Heights to Monica and Kelly's house. They were having a block party and a fire truck and ambulance showed up too! They were definitely the highlight for Mikey. Maddy slept right through the firetruck showing up.

Below is Mikey and Monica in the firetruck. He was so excited. He buckled himself in the seat. It was a good thing there were not a ton of kids b/c he was able to hang out there as long as he wanted.



He loved wearing the fire helmet.
Off to the ambulance. He certainly was checking everything out.
They even took his pulse. He thought that was so much fun.
He even got his face painted....which didn't stay on very long.

Below are a couple of pictures of the sunflowers Mikey and I grew from seed. He loves to go and water them every day.

Summer '08

The summer isn't nearly over and it has already been a busy summer for us. In order to keep family and friends up to date on what we have been up to we decided to start a blog.

Then we headed off to the Akron area to visit Mike's family for the 4th of July. We were there for about 10 days and had a nice visit. Mikey LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the pool at Papa & TT's house.

Last week we headed to the Shedd Aquarium for a visit. Here is a photo of Mikey outside with Sears Tower in the background.
